Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

Saunas with Soul is operated by Carlingford Party Hire Ltd, South Commons, Carlingford, Co Louth, Ireland. Company Registration Number (CRO) 736362. VAT number IE 4275710IH. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Saunas with Soul, and "you" means the person making the booking and everyone in their group.

2. Bookings

• Sessions are booked through our online booking system or directly with us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
• A booking is only confirmed once payment has been taken and you have received a confirmation email.
• For booking enquiries for dates and times not shown on the booking system, please contact us directly.
• The person making the booking is responsible for everyone in their group and for passing these terms on to them.

3. Age

Customers must be over 18 to use our services. We may ask for photo identification and may refuse entry where age cannot be confirmed. No refund is given where entry is refused on age grounds.

4. Payment

• Public sessions are priced from €15 for a 50 minute session.
• Private hire, Panoramic Retreat bookings and event bookings are quoted individually and are payable in full at the time of booking.
• Payment is taken at the time of booking unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
• Prices include VAT where VAT applies.

5. Cancellations, refunds and rescheduling

• Cancel more than 24 hours before your booking and you are entitled to a full refund or a reschedule.
• Between 24 and 6 hours before your booking you can reschedule using the reschedule link in your confirmation email.
• Less than 6 hours before your booking, and for no-shows, the booking is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
• Arriving late does not extend your session. Sessions are 50 minutes, although if the following session is not full we do not rush customers out.
• Deposits on private hire and event bookings are non-refundable. However, if you give us at least 7 days’ notice, the deposit can be transferred to another available date.

6. If we have to cancel

Occasionally we may need to cancel or move a session, for example because of severe weather, tides, sea conditions, equipment failure or circumstances outside our control. Where that happens we will contact you and offer a reschedule or a full refund. We are not responsible for other costs you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation.

7. Health, safety and your own responsibility

• Heat and cold exposure is not suitable for everyone. Please read our disclaimer before you book.
• You confirm that you and everyone in your group are fit to take part and have no medical condition that makes sauna use or cold water immersion unsafe.
• You must follow the instructions of your host at all times.
• Alcohol is available as an optional add-on at the Panoramic Retreat only. Anyone we consider to be intoxicated may be refused entry to the sauna or the plunge barrels, with no refund.
• Sea and lough access depends on the tide and on conditions on the day. Entering the water is always at your own risk.

8. What to bring

Swimwear is required. We also recommend two towels, one for drying off and one for sitting on in the sauna, swimming shoes if you plan to walk or swim on the beach, and a water bottle.

9. Behaviour

We want every session to feel calm and welcoming. We may end a session without refund where a guest behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, or that spoils the experience for others.

10. Gift vouchers

• Gift vouchers are available from €15 to €200.
• Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.
• Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Vouchers must be presented, in print or on a phone, at the time of your session.

11. Photography

We sometimes take photographs and video at our locations and at events for use on our website and social media. Tell your host before your session if you would prefer not to appear, and we will make sure you are not included.

12. Personal belongings

Please do not bring valuables. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged at our sites. See our lost and found policy for how we handle items left behind.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Irish law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you book is the version that applies to your booking.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
