We have tidal access to Carlingford Lough from the Folklore park – normally 2 and a half hours before and after high tide. At the Pier, there is beach access approximately 3 hours before and after high tide. Please go to the “Check Carlingford Lough Tides” link on the main page for updated high tide times to align with your session

We have three unique cold plunge barrels for you to enjoy:

  • One filled with cold, fresh water

At the Folklore Park each barrel is perfectly positioned to face out across stunning Carlingford Lough and the majestic Mourne Mountains!! In the Summer in May 2026, the view from the whiskey barrel will be looking directly onto Slieve Foy mountain.
